EXPLICACION

Usamos have got para expresar posesión o cosas que alguien tiene. 

Con I/you/we/they se usa have got y con he/she/it se usa has got.

I have got a new phone. → (Tengo un celular nuevo)

She has got two brothers. → (Ella tiene dos hermanos)

Affirmative sentences

Structure:
Subject + have/has got + object

  • I have got a car.
  • You have got a dog.
  • He / She has got a bike.
  • We / They have got a garden.

Negative sentences

Structure:
Subject + have/has not got + object
Short form: haven’t / hasn’t —- podemos abreviar de esta manera.

  • I haven’t got a car.
  • He hasn’t got a watch.
  • They haven’t got money.

Interrogative sentences

Structure:
Have/Has + subject + got + object ?

  • Have you got a pen?
  • Has he got a car?
  • Have they got any money?

Short answers:

  • Yes, I have. / No, I haven’t.
  • Yes, she has. / No, she hasn’t.
